It is good after a few years of waiting to get the care that our son needed. The advice and support has been so beneficial, especially being able to chat to the titration nurse assigned to us, it was the same person all the way through. From start to finish, May 1st was our first meeting, and we completed titration early October.
I as a mother had the support I needed. I doubt it would have been so easy if I had to go via the GP from the start. Now it is all sorted it is good to know that the communication will be handed over to the GP, with full confidence that he is now on the right medication.

My experience with titration was extremely intense, however, my titration nurse Sarah Purchase was very attentive and prompt with her replies.
The option of calling is not preferred with this service, however, Sarah took the time to answer my questions when I was distressed concerning my medication.
It took two trials of different medications, but I can confidently say I am satisfied with the medication prescribed and the dosage.
I do feel like I am finally seeing the light out of a tunnel that has been pitch black my entire life.
Thank you to this service, I am very grateful.

Really great assessment done in a calm and friendly way with no pressure at all. The doctor was very friendly and approachable and made the whole process feel much more relaxed than I expected, which was a great relief.

I had a video call to discuss a possible ADHD diagnosis - the call was around 6am which was odd but fine. Overall I felt the call was cold and the doctor wasn’t really up for any kind of conversation - only half of the call time was used. I mentioned seeking an autism diagnosis on top of ADHD but he simply said i’d have to get a new referral. I left the call with a formal diagnosis but no further support other than a medication titration plan to be started in 6 months. I still feel as lost as when I started the process.

I cannot recommend Psychiatry-UK enough. I was involved in every aspect of my treatment from start to finish.
During my initial assessment for ADHD I was made to feel incredibly comfortable and it felt more like a conversation than an assessment which helped ease some of my anxieties.
During my titration, I felt able to ask questions about my treatment no matter what they were and was never dissatisfied with the answer.
Everyone I dealt with was polite and helpful.
I honestly could not have asked for a better experience.

The process was actually a lot faster then I was expecting it to be. I am very happy about this cause I had mentally prepared myself to be waiting years to be assessed. When it came to me giving them extra information and filling out questionnaires, they gave me all the time in world which is great for people who have work, struggle with procrastination or have a poor attention span like I do.

Although we do of course have a waiting list, as an online company we can very often see patients quicker than local services. The whole team, during the entire process, were excellent. It genuinely felt as if I mattered to them.
I am incredibly pleased with the process, and the outcome.
Whilst everyone was excellent, I want to give special mention to the nurse that oversaw the ‘titration’ process, helping me to determine the optimum dosage of medication. Sally was kind, patient, prompt in her replies, and very supportive. In some ways, I’m going to miss being able to ask her for guidance.
